Howard University Athletics

In 2025, Alana Josey joined the Howard University swimming & diving program as an graduate assistant coach after a successful four-year career with the Bison.

In her first season, she led HU to the NEC Men's & Women's Championships.

As a student-athlete, she held two program records while leading the team to back-to-back runner-up finishes at the NEC Championships (2024 & 2025).

She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors of arts in political science and minor in criminology.
