BALTIMORE (April 5, 2018) – Coach 
Larry Strickland and the Howard University Women's Tennis team blanked Coppin State (CSU), 4-0, and moved into second place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division.
 
All four Bison won their respective singles matches in straight sets.
 
Junior 
Nicole Hutchison, reigning MEAC Player of the Week, defeated CSU's Tinashe Gwaze (6-1, 6-2) and improved to 6-4 (2-1 MEAC) in dual matches.
 
Junior 
Kindha Nasef and freshman 
Nathalie Finch each earned their fifth singles victories of the year while third-year player 
Christina Joynes won consecutive contests for the first time this season.
 
Saturday (April 7), the Bison host Delaware State at Banneker Recreation Center. First-serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
