PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 28, 2018) – Director of Track and Field 
David Oliver and the Howard University Women's Track and Field team performed well at the prestigious Penn Relays with three top 10 finishes.
 
A day after senior 
Dominique Cleggett highlighted the event by winning its long jump title, her teammates took their turns on the track.
 
Friday, the team of junior 
Aliyah Hale, sophomore 
Uchechi Onuoha, and freshmen 
Jessika Gbai and 
Zachyre Lynn Lane finished sixth in the College Women's 4x100 Eastern with a 46.97 mark.
 
Later that night, Gbai and Onouha teamed up with sophomore 
Sydney Benson and freshman 
Ozioma Scott in the sprint medley event where they placed fifth overall (4:02.08).
 
On the final day, Hale, Onouha, Scott, and Benson had their best performance of the season, setting a new personal record in the women's 4x400 relay. Howard took third after clocking in at 3:43.04.
 
On May 3-5, HU travels to Greensboro, N.C. for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships.
