WASHINGTON (October 13, 2017) – Howard University Women's Volleyball team picked up its fifth straight victory after sweeping conference rival Hampton (25-17, 25-18, 25-10) at Burr Gymnasium.
Overall, the Bison (7-13, 4-1 MEAC) registered a .403 hitting percentage. Senior
Khaila Donaldson recorded a match-high 10 kills while
Kira Porter and
Jessica Young each posted eight kills in the victory.
Junior
Tamia Dockery provided 28 assists while
Fola Wilson added a team-best nine digs in the win.
For Hampton, Kyndall Nicholas had a team-high seven kills while Lena Reed-Petraceck produced 14 assists in a losing effort.
HU squares off against Norfolk State inside Burr Gymnasium. Sunday's match starts 3 p.m.
